The feathers of birds have always been a symbol for the connection with what is above us and what transcends us. The Amazonian Indians put on headdresses made of feathers so that the Spirits of the Rainforest can recognize them and make better contact with them. The feather shifts energy, it can chop, push to purify or gently caress. Feathers from different birds have different qualities.
