Maraca Cha-Cha Crystal - Branco

These handmade maraca (shamanic rattles) are made by the Shipibo Indians of the Pucalpa region of Peru. The handle of the rattle is decorated with traditional Shipibo bead patterns and a large crystal.

This rattle is also called Ch-Cha after the sound made by the seed shells that are attached to it. The "shamanic rattle" is used to open and close sacred ritual spaces and also to energetically clear people and rooms.

Apart from the drum, the rattle has always been one of the most important shamanic instruments around the world.
