Kuripe Wooden Dragon

This beautiful and with great precision hand-carved Kuripe from Dacontomelon wood was made for us by an artistic carver on the Indonesian island of Bali. The Kuripe is fitted with metal hole ends made of polished brass. In many cultures the Dragon is a powerful symbol. For the people of Bali, the mythical dragon is not only a symbol of strength, but also a symbol of prosperity and eternal love. The Kuripe is made by a carver following the Indonesian tradition of making traditional Kris daggers. Kris is both a weapon and a spiritual object, often thought to have its own spirit and magical powers.

We will send you the Kuripe in a hand-sewn cloth bag because we believe that such a powerful instrument deserves it.

Each Kuripe is an original, so they may differ slightly from those shown in the picture.
