why and how personal data is processed at Sarava.

What is personal data

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person to whom the personal data relate. The latter shall be deemed to be determined or determinable if a natural person can be identified, directly or indirectly, on the basis of, in particular, a number, a code or one or more elements specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. [1] The handling of such data may be restricted due to the right to privacy, and in the Czech Republic this area is mainly addressed by Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, which still recognizes sensitive personal data (more details below in the category of personal data). From 25 May 2018, the protection of personal data will be regulated by Europe-wide Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.[2] This is the General Data Protection Regulation.

What is the processing of personal data

Processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations which the controller or processor systematically carries out in respect of personal data, by automated means or by other means, in particular collection, storage on information media, disclosure, modification or alteration, retrieval, use, transmission, dissemination, publication, storage, exchange, sorting or combination, blocking and destruction.

To whom you give your consent

The legal entity (S.R.O.) behind the Sarava.cz eshop is Sarava s.r.o., Za vodárnou 1628/11, 182 00, Prague 8, ID No.: 19534850, VAT: CZ19534850, which operates the Sarava.cz eshop, (hereinafter referred to as SARAVA) processes as a controller, i.e. determines how personal data will be processed and for what purpose.

What data we will process

Personal data provided by the user of the e-shop Sarava.cz during purchase and registration. These are in particular contact details (username, first name, surname, address, email, telephone number), accounting and payment details (account number) in connection with the payment made to our account. These data are necessary for the purpose of providing the ordered services and bookkeeping. We will process user data for a period of one year.

Personal data provided by individuals who have expressed an interest in receiving our newsletter in the range of name, e-mail address. In case you express interest in our newsletter, we provide you with the opportunity to voluntarily consent to the processing of your personal data on the basis of the so-called double opt in. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link included in each message sent. We will process your data for as long as we offer the newsletter service.

Personal data is not only created by the user's interaction with your website. Personal data is also generated through technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics and third-party embedded data.

Privacy is important to us

At SARAVA we adhere to the following principles:

SARAVA discloses the IP addresses of logged in users and commenting users only under the same conditions as when disclosing personal information, which is described below. An exception is the IP address of the commenting user, which is displayed to the site administrator.

Collection of personal data

(hereinafter referred to as "Google") for the purpose of monitoring the use and analysis of the website. Google may share this information with third parties where required to do so by law or where those parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate the IP address with any other data stored by Google.
