Meeting with the Pataxó Indians

Our journey to medicine Rapé she took us to the Pataxó Indians, who live on the Atlantic coast, in the state of Bahia in Brazil. Pataxó means parrot in the local language. Parrots are ubiquitous not only physically on their territory, but also in their art and handmade ornaments, which Pataxó wears not only during ceremonies, but are also intended for other rituals.

The main medicine of the Pataxó tribe is Rapé. Pataxó si Rapé holds in great reverence.
