The production of these bracelets, which are interwoven with mystical paintings of symbols, is the result of ancestral knowledge passed on to future generations within the Xingu Indian community. The detailed symbolism reflects a connection to the culture and values of the Kamayura people and are an example of how traditions are kept alive through art. This process is part of a larger system of cultural exchange and inter-ethnic rituals that reinforces the unity and identity of the Xingu River tribes.

These bracelets were made for us by several young Indians from Xingu communities and also by a Yawapa Indian woman. In their products, the Indians maintain the beauty and strength of their ancestral legacy, which connects us to the power of the rainforest and the mystery of the Great Spirit.

KAMAIURA
The Kamaiura are an important tribe in the Alto Xingu area, where the Xingu River flows. Their myths and tribal bonding rituals express the strong connection between these Indian peoples and reflect the Kamaiurá belief in the same act of creation
