Shawãndawa - Tsunu

Rapé is made from the ash of the bark of the Tsunu tree, also known as Pau Perreira. Tsunu is seen by the Shawandawa tribe as a male power and the power of the shaman. Tsunu rapé is good for summoning healing powers, evolving our spirit and connecting our spirit more deeply with matter. Rapé is made by Shawandawa Indian Zaquel Rosana, who is the daughter of the well-known Dona Francisquinha, whom we hold in high esteem, her path is pure and she is initiated into the making by her lineage.

Tsunu (Platycyamus regnellii) or Pau Perreira is seen as the great Maestro of the plantas, who summons male power, and the power of the shamanic teachings. The power of Tsunu or Pau Perreira is often invoked by Native Americans when healing power is needed to uplift our spirits. This rapé can also aid in dreaming and deepening meditation.

Rapé Tsunu is one of our traditional rapé, which at SARAVA.cz from the Huni Kuin tribe. We have also chosen to bring you this rapé from the Shawandawa tribe, although the basic plantas Tsunu is the same for all tribes, it differs in the variety of preparation, other herbs and maestro plantas, and most importantly the ceremonial procedure. Despite the fact that this may seem like a small thing at rapé these are the main ingredients that turn this powder into a great mystery.
