The book is an amazing dive into the world of the Indian soul. The stories and ancient Indian myths that were always passed down from mouth to mouth among the Indians in the great Amazon rainforest are now recorded on paper, and we too can learn how the Indians explain the world, how they recognize the spirit world, and also stories about the disrespect of white faces and their treatment of the forest.

This book can be on our table thanks to the great work of a group of young translators.
The book is intended for both adults and the smaller ones and is really beautiful.

Stolen Rain and Other Stories from the Amazon

The book "Stolen Rain and Other Stories from the Amazon" is an invitation to the spiritual world of its inhabitants. In it, religionist Reginaldo Prandi conveys the stories that have spread and spread from mouth to mouth in this fascinating part of the world. There are ancient Indian myths that give us a glimpse into the way the indigenous people explain the world.
But there are also folk tales in which the original cultures were mixed with the culture of the European conquerors. And last but not least, we read stories about the disrespect with which a civilization founded by Europeans treats the nature of this still little-known area.

Part of the book translated from Portuguese by young translators under the leadership of Šárka Grauová and illustrated by students of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design under the leadership of Juraj Horváth is also a glossary of the realities of the Amazonian world.
